What do you do for being on the Impact Team.. I just got hired on to A&F and I wanted to be brand rep, but they really need people to be on Impact so I said I'd do that....

Being on the Impact Team means that you will mostly be in the stockroom maintaining and handling items in there. You will be processing new shipments, backstocking articles in their respective departments, doing stock checks, working on projects, and so on. Sometimes you will be out on the floor helping out with filling and reorganizing tables when they are out of placed.

Yep, basically what was mentioned above. For me, most of the time I'm out on the floor doing updates, filling, helping customers, etc. (I work weekends only right now). If you work during the weekdays, shipment and processing would be the main objective of the day. At first, I wanted to be a BR, but then I noticed how some BR's don't get a chance to move around as much (many are stationed to one room) so I decided to join Impact. But being on the A&F team is pretty awesome altogether :)

Haha no not boring. On heavy days, you will be BUSY. And it's fun chilling with a whole bunch of people in the stockroom on layed back days.

Yeah, that's how I am. I LOVE helping customers. But after months and months, sometimes you just want to get away from the madness (Black Friday is going to KILL me) and hang out in the back. Being on impact gives you that choice. Also, on Impact I do Brandrep type things too..like fitting rooms, go-backs, greet in 1st rooms, and maintaining the rooms. Only thing impact usually doesn't do is Cashwrap (thank goodness :P)

Impact at the Seaport store wasn't like how it is at other stores. It's not strictly stock. It's stock/brand rep. Stock was it's own seperate position. Impact was filling in clothing, doing USRs, and auditing. Stock workers did transfers, shipment, and processing. I know at smaller stores, they make impact and stock the same thing though.

yea, they call us impacters PTI...for part time impact. the running joke with our DM is PTU...part time uglies, since the look-policy hardly applies to the impact team. although, have you seen the memo called "meet columbus, ohio" or whatever? trying to show people that home office wants abercrombie to look like...regardless of impact or brand rep....

So that's what it is! I saw the sheet of paper while going in and out of the stockroom, but never got the chance to actually look at it. I just saw like 8 faces on their or something with the words "Meet Columbus, Ohio" on it.

haha, you got played... but then again, neither is really fun. Atleast with impact you can finish your stuff up early and make it SEEM like you're doing work
