Mike Jerffries

he must be all over the place cuz just earlier this week we were told he was in Chicago on his tour

i work at the home office a&f 3 room campus store.

days when mike come in are insane. he's never really on time (but hey.. it's his company so he can do w/e he wants) and there are like 30+ people following him around, and when he wants something done, it gets done.. no questions asked. it's crazy.

i've seen him get pissed when looking at a form, and walk out of the store without saying a word. i've also heard about him saying a form at abercrombie looked like a "slut". i've been in the backstock (since that's where we are supposed to go hide. haha), and heard him yelling about how he didn't like how a closet was set up.

i've met him before. he's actually a nice guy. he came into the store to check out marketing on our mens side and we wern't warned about it before, so he kind of just showed up, and i was standing in mens 1 when he walked in. he talked to me for about a minute or two, asking me how my day was, and how i liked working there, and he even complimented me saying i looked very "brand positive".. which was kind of funny.

some random trivia about mike/a&f is.. mike always gets driven around in black cars (black paint /super dark window tint). the ruehl dog is actually one of mikes dogs named trouble. no he doesn't make 100 million a year.. i was talking to my manager once about how much he makes becase she had read an article about him and she said when he first bought a&f he sold some stocks a year later and made 135 million off of that.. i'm not sure exactly how much he makes a year but i've heard 30 million plus.. so don't quote me on it but that's what i've heard. the gray paint on the walls is actually a trademarked color by a&f called abercrombie grey, and the red writing on the fierce marketing behind the cash wraps is another a&f trademarked color called fierce red.

i've learned a lot of random things about mike and the company from working at the home office.
